We bumped into Scott purely by chance while looking at a house that he was selling. However, over the phone, he had already taken down our requirements and by the time we came to see the house, he was ready with a list other houses that he thought may be of interest to us. We liked the fact that he was prepared and had short listed places that we ourselves would have shortlisted. Once we decided to use him as an agent, we never wasted any time since every house he showed us was in line with our requirements. The house we ended up buying had just come on the market when Scott brought it to our attention. When we got married in 2005, we each owned a house and wanted to consolidate into one existing home that would be ‘ours.’ We asked The Stabeck Group to help us find a suitable property. Admittedly it was hard for us to decide between our wants and needs; we even thought we would build a house at one point. Both Candi and Scott stuck with us and were attentive throughout our on-again, off-again search. Finally, in 2010, we put it all together and purchased an existing home. The Stabeck Group sold one of our homes too. (They had also helped one of us buy and sell homes in 1999.) Candi carefully guided us through appropriate pricing to buy and sell, and we always felt she had our best interests in mind. Her diligence was particularly key during the final walk-through of the property we were about to purchase. The property wasn’t in optimal shape, and she was determined to ‘make it right.’ Within hours she had negotiated the installation of new carpet before our movers arrived the next day. January 2010 I called the Stabeck Group to sell my home, although I loved my home, it was time to move forward, to a more affordable and less maintenance home.
